July 22 Meeting - Bill Federer
There exists a profound conflict today between nationalism and globalism. Globalism, driven by a desire to diminish love for one’s country and its history, seeks to denigrate, erase, or alter reminders of past victories, heroes, and foundational documents.
As Brock Chisolm, the first director of the World Health Organization, stated, “To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their … national patriotism.”
Satan is the manipulator of this deception. Scripture warns us: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
In our modern era of “5th generation warfare,” battles are fought not just with weapons but through ideas, narratives, and manipulation of information. This tactic creates societal uncertainty, challenging individuals to discern truth from manipulation and requiring critical thinking to resist its effects.
A common strategy of the adversary is to accuse others of the very actions of which they themselves are guilty.History, while not prophetic, offers predictive insights. We must remain vigilant in studying the past to avoid repeating its mistakes.
At the heart of globalism lies a push towards worldwide communism. Though the Bible doesn’t explicitly mention the terminology of a “one world government” in its End Times prophecies, it does foresee a time of global imposition involving a single leader, religion, and economic system.
Karl Marx famously summarized communism: “The theory of the communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property.” This ideology persists today, exemplified in discussions like “You will own nothing and be happy,” attributed to Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum.
What is the Church’s stance on these societal, moral, and cultural upheavals, and what responsibilities do individual Christians have in response? It is crucial to recognize that these issues represent profound, spiritually relevant challenges at their core.
For instance, here is a political article with deeper issues to consider.
How Should Christians Respond to a Watered-Down GOP Platform?

God is illuminating spiritually significant issues and urging each of us to take a stand. Let us not be like the Laodicean church of whom He rebuked saying, “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
Revelations 3:16
Remember, silence implies consent. This thought represents “tacit consent” which refers to the consent given by the failure to dissent. Just one example is during a wedding ceremony….”Speak now or forever hold your peace”. Silence indicates agreement.
Matthew 5:13 states, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” This sentiment echoes Edmund Burke’s timeless observation: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
It takes courage to uphold truth in a world that often rejects it, but courage is contagious. Others will be emboldened by your example.
Consider your legacy within the grand narrative of history (His-story). Imagine sharing your earthly testimony at Heaven’s banquet table alongside Jesus, Noah, Moses, Joseph, Esther, Daniel, and countless others who lived during perilous and seemingly hopeless times yet persevered triumphantly.
Be encouraged, Christians! Remember….”You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
